“One Mission, One Sisterhood, Empowering Through Scholarship and Community Service”

 

On May 6, 2006, the Fairfax County Alumnae Chapter held its Annual May Week Luncheon Celebration.  This event honored our chapter's accomplishments and recognized the examples of excellence, leadership, and community service of our 2006-2006 Scholarship Recipients.   The event also honored the FCAC Delta of the Year, Joyce Green and an Community Service Award was presented to an outstanding Community Organization.  

The Guest Speaker was Gladys Gary Vaughn, Ph.D.  Dr. Vaughn is the National President The Links, Incorporated and the National Co-Chair of the Social Action Commission, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.  Dr. Vaughn provided our scholarship winners with wonderful advice, as they pursue their education and careers goals.
