Congratulations to Beanca Nicholson, the Fairfax County Alumnae Chapter, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. $5,000 scholarship recipient. 

Beanca is proactive in the community as the creator and chairwoman of Chantilly Leadership Team, and committee chairwoman and agency leader for the Student Government Association. She is a member of the National Honor Society, a representative on the Student Advisory Council, and a student representative to  the Fairfax County Public Schools Transportation Task Force. Beanca is also an assistant teacher at the Fair Lakes Children’s Center, and coaches basketball with Chantilly Youth Association. 

Beanca’s involvement in community service, her strong extracurricular activities, and exceptional academic profile make her a standout and a very competitive candidate for the 2008 FCAC Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. scholarship.  Bianca plans to attend the business school at The University of Illinois-Urbana (U of I) and pursue a degree in Accounting.
