Congratulations to Jasmine Lee, a Fairfax County Alumnae Chapter, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. $2,000 Jefferson-Nelson scholarship recipient. 

Jasmine demonstrates her leadership abilities in such roles as Chairperson of Homecoming, Co-Chair of Graduation, President of Torchbearers, Secretary of the Black Student Union, and the Secretary of the Student Diversity Initiative. She is also a member of  the National Honor Society, the Voices of Tomorrow Choir, the Key Club, and is the team manager of her school’s Boys Varsity Soccer Team. Jasmine works as a teacher's assistant in the Fairfax County Public Schools Quest Program, and with twelve years of experience, she enjoys playing the piano.

Jasmine has been accepted to Georgetown University, Princeton University, the University of North Carolina/Chapel Hill, American University, the College of William and Mary, and Duke University. She was also accepted to and plans to attend Brown University or  the University of Virginia,  and major in International Relations.
