Sharon Williams

Congratulations to Sharon Williams, a Fairfax County Alumnae Chapter, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. $2,000 scholarship recipient. 

Sharon has obtained various honors as a member of the Girl Scouts including Silver and Bronze awards. She maintains athletic and academic honor roll, and received a varsity letter award for orchestra as a violinist in Lake Braddock Concert Orchestra and String Ensemble.

With an entrepreneurial spirit, Sharon started a neighborhood dog-walking business that she expanded to include regular house sitting responsibilities.

Sharon has been accepted for admission to Virginia Tech, Smith College, and Wake Forest University.  She plans to attend Virginia Tech in the Fall and pursue a degree in Engineering.
