2024 AWFD Public Service Initiative
Each participating area chapter has been tasked with collecting and donating new or gently used clothing, shoes, coats, accessories, etc., to an organization in their service area focused on empowering women, such as a shelter or organization helping women rebuild their lives.
We invite all sorors to participate in the Areawide Founders Day community service initiative by including a monetary donation with your event registration or by bringing a donation to the event to support Artemis House, Fairfax County’s only 24-hour emergency shelter serving victims of domestic violence, sexual violence, stalking, and human trafficking. As the chosen overall community service project for our 2024 Areawide Founders Day, we need your help making a positive impact in the lives of those in need.
