 Joy McGeachy Galberth

The Delta of the Year award is given annually in the Fairfax County Alumnae Chapter (FCAC) to honor a dynamic Delta who has demonstrated a significant commitment to the chapter and has gone above and beyond the call of Delta.  FCAC is proud to honor Joy McGeachy Galberth as the Delta of the Year for the 2019-2020 Sorority Year. 

​

Joy is a phenomenal leader of the Planning and Program Development (PPD) and serves as the very first 2nd Vice-President of FCAC.  Under her leadership, the PPD committee provided new, unique, viable, relevant and outstanding activities that target students and families in the community.  As service is the basis of our chapter, Joy is key to our being in the enviable position of having great programs that the entire chapter can be proud of.  Joy is a true Soror who has a smile and a kind word for her Sorors.  She immediately volunteers to help anywhere she is needed within the Sorority or on a personal level with chapter members.
